Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade are using the Core
Knowledge Language Arts curriculum. Reading, language and writing
skills are embedded in this curriculum. In depth phonics instruction is
taught in grades K5-2nd grade. Students are taught using content on
their appropriate levels.
